I graduated from NCC in 1997 and was awarded a scholarship at BNL for minorities, after that I went to Stony Brook where I did very well while working full time at BNL with very smart people. I researched calculus in Wikipedia. I used these entries: calculus, derivatives, integrals, series and I learned so much by looking at these concepts in words rather than symbolically. Especially for those of us who are used to communicating with words I recommend looking into the concepts we are learning. It puts them in context and actually expands understanding of the ideas.
