Getting Around The Blog:
If you have reached this far, I have piqued your interest. Reading a blog can sometimes be confusing. Posts are listed in reverse chronological order, what I mean is that the newer posts appear first. Computer Science students know this as a _________ .
Because this blog is applicable to all my courses, all posts will be intermingled. To find the posts applicable to your course, click on your course under the Category box on the right. This will display the posts for your course.
There are instances when there may be a post applicable (snow days, cancelled class, NCc announcements etc) to all my courses, simply click on All Courses on the right.
Comments:
You can actually post a comment on this blog. If you decide to post a comment (question, issue, etc), please be sure it is applicable to everyone for that class or group. Simply choose the post you wish to comment on and fill in the comment box. Please note, comments are moderated and will not appear right away.
Reading:
A blog is also an RSS feed. What this means is that you can subscribe to it as you would news, sports, etc items. You can have the posts appear on your Google, Yahoo, Optonline, IE7 or Firefox.
For Firefox and IE7, simply click on the orange RSS button on the top right. For other web-based prtals (iGoogle, etc), click on the orange RSS button, copy the URL (what is in the address bar), find a place on your portal page that says Add Content (or something similar) and paste the URL there. Now, any post I make will show up on your page.
- or simply click on the orange POST rss button above or copy and paste http://profglass.wordpress.com/feed into your news reader.
